What is my username?
Your email address is your User Name. Please remember the email address that you used during registration. As a new user, a first step you should do before accessing to the myGovernmentportal is register. Please click on the Register link found on the right side of the portal.
How do I know that the registration was successful?
You will receive anotification email shortly after the registration is completed, Please check your email for verification and log into myGovernment. For the purpose of login, the user may enter an email address and password that was used to register and click on Login button.

What is 'My Page'?
In 'My Page' there are 4 main items on the left side of the portal:
• My Personal Details
myForms will display all activities that do not involve any fees associated with one user. Example:'s application 'Contract Payment Scheme' through the MARA agency.
myBayar will show all activities / transactions that have been committed. All these activities will be displayed in the table contained in myBayar where the user can choose how to pay for each of these activities either through money transfer, credit card or debit card. Example: JPA loan payments.
myGovernment Services is a link to all the services offered by the myGovernment portal. Example: a link to the Online Services Directory, Agency Directory and etc.
My Personal details allow users to edit and add their personal information.
What should I do if I forgot my password?
You are allowed to Reset the new password again by clicking on the link 'Forgot Password' and then fill in the e-mail address and the text confirmation. Links to Reset your new password will be sent to your email address.
Why are there four different user groups on the myGovernment portal?
In general, the content of a portal myGovernment are divided into 4 groups of users Citizens, Businesses, Non-Citizen and Government. myGovernment portal content is derived from two sources which is the content was found in the portal itself myGovernment and content from government agencies obtained via RSS feeds. All content contained in this website has been categorized according to consumer groups mentioned above based on the suitability of the concept of context and use.
1. In the Citizens group, users can choose to get information based on:
- View by Category
- View by Topic
In the View according to Category, user can choose to get information on the life cycle of six categories, namely (Child, Youth, Adult, Senior Citizens, disabled persons, citizens who reside overseas).
While for the View according to Topic, the user can choose a topic based on eight types of topics Career, Protection and Safety Citizens, Culture, Recreation & Sports, Education, Family & Community Services Health & Medical Services, Housing, Finance & Taxation, Transport and Tourism
2. Just like Citizen consumer group, for the group of Business users, the user can get information related to the Business in accordance with the desired type of display which are:
- View by Life Cycle
- View by Topic
The type of information can be obtained on the View according to Life Cycle is divided into 4 sections of Starting a Business, Running a Business, Growing Business, and Closing a Business.
While for View by Topic, users can get information such as License & Registration Business, Contracts & Tenders, Government Aid, Human Resources, Import Export, Invest in Malaysia, investment, Malaysian Economy, Small & Medium Enterprises, Taxes and Duties.
